Hi! My name is Ciprian, the man behind “Little Monkey Leather and Crafts”. Although I have built my career in the financial field, even as a child, a part of me was drawn to a completely different field – craftsmanship, the art of making things with your own hands. I have always had a talent for manual labor, whether it was wood carving, fretwork, or building furniture. For several years now, I have discovered a new interest that has turned into a true passion – leatherwork.

Even though I was exposed to leather crafting as a child – my grandfather made harnesses for horses, and I often had the pleasure of watching him pierce the leather and hand-sew with two needles – the experience imprinted in my heart the unmistakable smell of tanned leather. My journey with leather truly began a few years ago when I received a gift from my wife: a much-desired buffalo leather wallet from a famous brand. However, despite being machine-sewn, the stitching was crooked, and the craftsmanship was poor. I thought to myself, “I can do better than this!” And that’s how it all started – like a challenge, using simple, rustic tools and a few leftover pieces of leather.

But what began as mere experimentation with leather soon became something special, because I realized that I could really do this – and do it well.

Eventually, I cut a piece from that gifted wallet and turned it into a part of “The LM Classic Cardholder” – a testimony to the moment it all began.

My passion for craftsmanship, for well-made work, and my almost obsessive attention to detail made this brand possible. And starting today, you too can enjoy a “Little Monkey Leather & Crafts” creation.
